Rope as an extension of our hands, a versatile tool which enhances our ability to hear and be in touch with our partners, our bodies, sensuality, and desires. Therefore, learning rope really starts with learning to listen and respond, sharing needs and boundaries, experimenting with touch and movement, exploring verbal and non verbal communication.

We can communicate different intentions and meanings through how we work with the senses and body, what would you like to say through the way you touch and tie? Whether it's tender and comforting, erotic and sensual, or energising and playful; exploring rope with care and intention opens many possibilities for connection and pleasure.

During this workshop you will be guided through this spectrum of possibilities and learn the fundamentals which will support you to continue this practice and find your own flair with ropes. We will work with breath, touch, sensory play, body manipulation and movement; all before picking up some ropes to apply what we have learnt to tying.

About our Workshop Series

Join us at the Apple Tree Pop-Up venue in Clerkenwell where we have programmed a workshop every month featuring speakers, activists, artists and facilitators that will help strengthen your understanding of topics related to intimacy, relationships, kink, healing & allyship.

We aim to bring together those who believe all of us ought to have the freedom, space, and permission to discover and explore their sexuality beyond the limitations and prejudices of existing societal structures. We value real conversations & messy truths over polish, politeness, & pretence, therefore by talking about things that aren’t easily or widely spoken about we will be able to bring to light all of our contradictions, confusions, experiences and secrets, so you can develop new understandings as well as deepen your form of intimacy beyond shame, judgment, and constraint.

All talks will be a safe, discreet and nurturing environments that allow you to be as expressive, vulnerable and involved as you may wish to be.
