How accessible is the venue?
At our core, we value inclusivity and continously try to make sure we can make our events as accessible as possible. We aim to do this in two key ways: by offering affordable and personalized ticket options for those who are financially disadvantaged, and by implementing thoughtful measures to accommodate people with special needs:
Parking & Driveway: Designated parking spots are available on the palace grounds for those opting to drive. The driveway to the venue is paved, and the castle grounds are predominantly flat with only slight inclines.
Carer Access: Those with a disability who need to bring a carer can do so free of charge. Please email us if you need to bring a carer. You will need to present valid documenation for your disability.
Main Entrance and Stairs: The main entrance features three narrow steps to enter. Inside, the castle there are three floors which are each accessible via a set of stairs. Unfortunately, due to structural constraints, the venue is not fully wheelchair accessible despite our efforts to explore various solutions.
Stage Accessibility: On the ground floor we will have a workshop space where there are no steps to enter. To gain access to the basement dancefloor or the performance space on the 1st floor there are a set of stairs. Our outdoor stage is accessible from the ground floor.
Toilets and Showers: All toilets and showers are gender-neutral. Accessible toilet facilities are available throughout the venue on the ground floor of the castle. Showers are located in the basement, with additional toilets and showers available outside in the campsite and near the outdoor stages for convenience.
Lighting and Sound: Expect moving lights, strobe effects, smoke machines, and amplified music throughout the venue and its surroundings.
Quiet Areas: Relaxing quiet areas are available both inside and outside the castle for those who may need a sensory break.
Support and Welfare: A trained safeguarding team will be on hand throughout the event to provide assistance. A designated welfare area is also in place to support attendees with any additional needs or concerns.
We are committed to making your visit as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. If you have specific questions, concerns, or additional requirements, please don’t hesitate to contact us in advance or seek assistance from our team during the event.
What food & drinks do you provide?
Our cooking team will be creating delicious vegetarian and vegan meals and will be available for brunch and dinner. Even though we have been faced with a dramatic increase in costs for ingredients, we have tried to price this is fairly and sustainably as possible. The option to buy meals in advance will need to be ordered before hand through the ticket link. We will also have a food stand that will serve extra snacks and lunch to keep you energized along with non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks, fresh juices, teas, coffees and herbal elixirs which will be sold at our bars and our tea parlour.
Is there a dress code?
As with all of our events, our dress code requires you all to dress in creative sensual attire. For the Saturday & Sunday night we will have a specific theme we will be encouraging all guests to adhere to you (we will make it easily abstract and playful). Therefore we expect you to bring out your most colourful, opulent, and saucy outfits for both day and night making sure however that you feel equally fabulous as you do comfortable within them. Be sure to pack something warm and cozy too! There will be a specific costume mood board that will be shared with the confirmed guests.
How are you navigating the awareness and safeguarding for guests?
Your well-being, comfort and safety is at the heart of everything we do. At the Pinky Promise Festival we will aim to create an environment where everyone feels welcome, respected, and cared for. To achieve this, we ask that all attendees follow our principles of consent, inclusivity, and mutual respect. You must read our rules & agreemements before attending.
Consent is essential. Always ask before initiating any physical or emotional interaction, and respect the boundaries others set. A simple “Can I?” can create the necessary space to meaningful connections while ensuring everyone feels safe and seen. Whilst in the play spaces, it is also important to never interupt other peoples play and you cannot coerce or pressure other people to engage or interact with you.
If you experience or witness behavior that concerns you please inform our dedicated Safeguarding Team who will be visible throughout the festival, wearing pink high-visibility vests. They are trained to handle sensitive situations with care and will be on hand day and night to provide support, guidance, or a listening ear.
Whether you need assistance, someone to talk to, or immediate intervention, they are there for you. We will also have a dedicated sanctuary space for anyone that requires a place to retreat, seek solace or to calm their nervous system down.
Whatever your concern, big or small, you will be heard, supported, and protected. Together, we’ll create a playful atmosphere where everyone can explore and express their sexuality freely, without fear or judgement.
Can you share more about sexual exploration at the festival?
We always go above and beyond to create gorgeously decorative and well equipped play space for you and your lover(s) to explore intimate adventures together.
Sexual exploration is an intrinsic part that ties our community together. At the festival we approach sensuality in a creative and playful way and offer safe spaces for intimacy.
How you wish to express and explore this is entirely up to you. We encourage you to connect with yourself and others in a way that honours your boundaries and serves your desires. Remember to not yuck on other peoples yum. We are a home to celebrate rather than shame peoples kinks as long as they are done so consensually.
Whilst all forms of sex can take place, we also recognise that sex in itself can be such a genital focused experience. Within Pinky Promise we invite you to challenge and evolve your perception of pleasure, especially beyond penetration.
There’s no pressure to participate and there are plenty of spaces for flirting and more platonic means of connection.
Play Room Rules
1. Always seek and maintain consent. People can change their mind, so remember that a YES could turn to a NO and that must be respected every time!
2. No Cruising. You can only enter the Cosmic Den play space with those you have agreed to play with. You are however freely able to enter the soft play area solo.
3. No Solo Wanking. Avoid non-consensual self-indulgence that might make others uncomfortable. Let the shared space be a canvas for collective pleasure, not a solo stage.
4. Clean up after yourselves. Use the sprays and wipes we provide to ensure that you can keep the space and furniture clean for those that use it after you.
5. Respect boundaries. Do not coerce or pressure others to interact with you. A rejection is not a personal offence; instead, appreciate people clearly expressing their limits.
6. Do not interrupt other peoples play. Respect the intimacy of others and avoid entering their personal space without explicit invitation.
7. No shaming or judging others. Embrace the beautifully diverse expressions of human sexuality. Be open-minded, stretch beyond your comfort zone, and refrain from making derogatory comments or jokes.
8. Photography is forbidden. Capture memories in the theatre of your mind, not on film.
How do I travel to the festival?
The most eco-friendly way to reach the palace is by train which is only 2hrs from Berlin. From there we will be organising a shuttle that will take you from the station to the venue which is a 5 minute drive. We will share details about the nearest station to the ticket holders.
If you prefer to drive, it is also only 2hrs drive away and there will be limited parking spots are available in front of the palace and must be booked in advance. We also have a designated area for live-in vehicles such as campervans which will need to also be booked in advance.
We will be creating a lift share spreadsheet so you can connect with those driving that might have space in their car to take you.
What accomodation is available?
Camping at the festival with your own tent is included within the ticket price. The camp site is behind the palace situated in lush greenery and within afew minutes walk to the swimmable lake. There will be showers and toilets in the camping area.
There will also be glamping options at the festival in beautiful teepees which will be available at an extra cost. There is also a large indoor dorm you can sleep in aswell however you would need to bring your own mattresses.
Please indicate your accommodation preference during the ticket purchase process.
How will I pay for things at the festival?
We will be implementing our very own festival currency, Pinky Pounds which you can use to buy food and drinks. You’ll be able to exchange your cash at designated counters for the Pinky Promise tokens.
