Maybe you’ve heard that having healthy boundaries in your relationships is really important. While this is good advice, it doesn’t begin to explain exactly what boundaries are, how you can find yours, or communicate them to the people you’re in relationships with. Hannah Rosemary recently offered us an excerpt on her ultimate guide to boundaries in relationships which can be found on the link below:

In this article I’ll explain exactly what boundaries are, and how they differ from limits and barriers. I’ll cover the different types of boundaries that are most relevant in romantic/sexual relationships, and give you some questions you can ask yourself to begin to explore each. I’ll offer plenty of advice for beginning to feel into where your personal boundaries are, and finally I’ll share with you a really useful structure you can use for initiating conversations about your boundaries. This is a big topic, and a really worthwhile one to dig into. Working with your boundaries and learning to assert them clearly and compassionately is one of the most meaningful ways to improve all of your relationships - with others and with yourself.
